PhotoPass Changes Cinderella's Royal Table & Akershus Discontinue Print Packages
July 17, 2014
Disney has announced some changes to the PhotoPass service in Walt Disney World. Times have changed since 1999 when you caught your own magical memories on film.
The photo print packages at Cinderella's Royal Table and Akerhus will be discontinued on January 4, 2015. Dining arranged prior to that will receive the print package.
Already in affect is this new PhotoPass detail. It went into effect on July 27, 2014. The restaurants affected by this change are 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickey’s, Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, ‘Ohana, Tusker House Restaurant.
Photographers will still be there to capture magical photo memories. Your pictures will be associated with your Magic Band, Memory Maker, PhotoPass or PhotoPass+ card. You can view your photos and purchase prints online through your My Disney Experience account. You can also view photos and purchase prints onsite at a PhotoPass sales location.
Notice the exceptions to this rule are Cinderella's Royal Table and Akershus. You will still receive your prints at those restaurants until January 4, 2015. The print packages will not be part of the dining experience after that.
